Industrial Advisors

HealthInvest Partners’ industrial advisors have extensive experience from management positions in a broad range of biotechnology and medical technology companies. The advisors are all shareholders in HealthInvest Partners’ funds.

Carl Bennet is the chairman and largest shareholder in Getinge, Elanders and Lifco. Bennet is the chairman of the board of Gothenburg University and also serves on the board of directors of Holmen and L E Lundbergföretagen. He was the CEO of Getinge from 1989-1997.

Sören Mellstig was the CEO of Gambro from 2000-2006. Prior to that, he held other leading positions at Incentive/Gambro. Mellstig is the chairman of the board of Textilia, FOI Totalförsvarets Forskningsinstitut, Neron HSU AB, Ferrosan MD A/S and Apotek Hjärtat and also serves on the board of directors of Dako A/S and Trelleborg.

Erik Walldén is the CEO of Gyros, a leader in miniaturization of laboratory applications. Walldén has previously been the CEO of Affibody Holding, Biacore International and Pyrosequencing. He has held management positions with PerSeptive Biosystems, Pharmacia Biosensor and Pharmacia Biotech. Walldén serves as vice president on the board of Exiqon A/S, as chairman in Sweden BIO Business & Finance Group and he also serves on the board of Tecan Group Ltd.
