HealthInvest Asia Fund

HealthInvest Asia Fund was launched on January 1, 2010. The Fund’s investments are focused on healthcare companies active in Asia.

Asia, and especially China, has experienced two decades of rapid growth. However, a large portion of the Asian population does still not have access to healthcare comparable to western standards. The Chinese government has declared that the country will expand access to healthcare over the coming ten years. There is reason to believe that healthcare-related expenditures will rise rapidly as the Asian economies continue to grow, the Asian population grows older and the public sector invests in expanding access to healthcare.

HealthInvest Asia Fund aims to capitalize on the growth in Asian healthcare spending by investing in companies with sales in the region. HealthInvest Asia Fund will invest in Asian healthcare companies as well as in companies outside Asia with business presence in the region.

The Fund is a long-only fund and will have a relatively high positive correlation with the general direction of stock markets.

Minimum initial subscription amount is SEK 5’000. Investors should have a long-term view of at least three years when investing in HealthInvest Asia Fund and be aware of the high volatility in many of the Asian stock markets compared to stock markets in Western Europe and in the US.
